Do you know those stands where you get all of your snacks and drinks at the home football games? Do you ever wonder what it takes to keep those stands up, running, and providing you with food almost every Friday night? Here are some facts and quotes from the great ladies and gentlemen that run the concession stands.

From September 3rd to October 13th, the total amount earned by both of the concession stands was $9,385.71. Every cent of profit made by the concession stands goes toward funding and supporting the Camden Marching Band. These things include band dues, stadium clean up, and U-Haul rental and fuel, which total up to $1,375.44.

Profit made in the concession stands doesn't go strictly toward those three things, though. The money also goes toward repairing any instruments that are necessary, which is not cheap. Some of these instruments repairs can include, but are not limited to: broken mallets for front ensemble, busted drum heads for drum line, dented bells for brass instruments, and broken keys for woodwinds. Clearly the cost for these expenses isn't anything of low-cost. The total cost of all instrument repairs in the last month was $1,037.66.

Now, you may wonder who all of the lovely people that serve you at the concession stands are. To name a few would not be giving credit where credit is due, considering they all work so hard. So here is a list of all of the great marching band parents who work at the concession stands at every home football game: Sonya and Chester Volz, Tina Webb, Tina Donohoe, David Boyd, Jill and Greg Fields, Dean Emerson, Anna Berkley, D'anna and Richie Faulkner, Lavona Fields, Gary and Sonya Deweese, David Flowers, Brea Goodwin, Veda Canchola, and James Wilson.

All of these people put in at least five hours of work in each concession stand at every home football game. This doesn't include those who work concessions at JV games. Together, all of these people devote about twenty hours every week to working in the concession stands. And each of these adults agree, their favorite part of working in the stands is knowing that they are supporting their Camden Marching Band.
